🌟 Charm System

📜 Introduction

The Charm System is a powerful sub-system within the Mining Profession that allows players to enhance their characters with supplemental buffs.

By collecting and activating Charms, you unlock stat boosts that can amplify your playstyle, including:

  • 🗡️ Offensive boosts (e.g., increased attack power or critical rate)

  • 🛡️ Defensive buffs (e.g., damage reduction or elemental resistance)

  • 🧪 Utility benefits (e.g., health or energy increase)

These buffs stack with your base stats, making Charms a crucial tool for customizing and optimizing your build.

🛠️ How to Craft Charms

To craft Charms, visit the Charm Manager NPC in the Main Hall 🏛️.

🪨 Required Materials: Ingots

Charms are crafted using Ingots, which are obtained through the Mining Profession:

Each type of Ingot contributes to crafting different Charm properties, allowing you to tailor buffs for your desired playstyle.

🧭 Charm Classifications

Charms are categorized into three types, each with its own unique benefits:

🏷️ Charm Type
🛡️ Example Buffs
🪨 Ingot Requirement

Offensive Charms

Attack Power, Critical Rate

9 Ingots

Defensive Charms

Damage Reduction, Elemental Resistance

6 Ingots

Utility Charms

Health Increase, etc.

12 Ingots

✅ Important: You can equip one Charm per type simultaneously. For example:

1 Offensive Charm + 1 Defensive Charm + 1 Utility Charm = All effects apply

Duplicates Do Not Stack If you have two of the same type (e.g., 2 Offensive Charms) in your inventory, no effect will apply. Store the extras in your Kafra Storage 🧳.

⚔️ Offensive Charms

  • Requires 9 Ingots (any combination of Aquastone, Flamestone, Dragonstone).

  • Random chance to receive a Tier 1, 2, or 3 Offensive Charm—see table below for chances!

  • No upgrading: You cannot upgrade a Tier 1 Charm into a Tier 2 or Tier 3. Each Charm must be crafted individually.

📝 Example:

  • Power Charm I cannot be upgraded to Power Charm II.

  • You must craft a new Charm for a chance at a higher Tier.
