Item Modifications

🏷️ Item Modifications

To improve economic balance and encourage a more thoughtful gameplay loop, we've made adjustments to item selling prices across the board. 💸

📉 Universal 70% Reduction on High-Value Item Sales

Going forward, any item sold to NPC shops with an original selling price over 120 Zeny 💰 will have its price reduced by 70%. This change is designed to keep the in-game economy sustainable while ensuring that rare items and key loot remain valuable.

🎯 Key Points:

  • This change affects all items with a selling price above 120 Zeny 💰.

  • No specific items are exempt; the system applies globally.

  • The goal is to:

    • Reduce passive Zeny generation from bulk-selling common loot.

    • Encourage meaningful farming and resource management.

    • Preserve the value of rare and essential items.

  • You can still sell any item, but the adjusted price will reflect the new balance.

💡 Why This Change?

  • To prevent excessive Zeny inflation and ensure a fairer, more engaging gameplay loop. 🌿

  • To encourage players to focus on valuable loot, refining materials, and meaningful trading.

  • To balance Zeny flow across all stages of the game, especially for high-volume farming areas.

🏹 Arrow Adjustments

All types of Arrows now have a fixed selling price of 0 Zeny 💰, regardless of their original value. This change applies to:

  • Standard arrows (e.g., Arrow)

  • Elemental arrows (e.g., Silver Arrow, Fire Arrow, Crystal Arrow, etc.)

  • Specialty arrows (e.g., Stun Arrow, Sleep Arrow, Curse Arrow, etc.)

This adjustment is aimed at:

  • Preventing passive Zeny farming through mass arrow sales.

  • Encouraging players to focus on the primary purpose of arrows: combat and strategy, rather than as a source of income.

  • Maintaining economic balance by reducing easy profit avenues.

You can still buy and use arrows normally; only the NPC resale value has changed.

🃏Card Adjustments

Card Adjustments

All Card-Combo effects have been disabled. This means:

  • No bonus effects will be granted when equipping multiple cards that previously worked together in a set (e.g., the Merchant Card-Set will no longer provide additional effects).

  • Each card’s individual effect remains functional and usable.

  • This change is intended to:

    • Prevent overpowered combinations that can lead to balance issues.

    • Encourage players to build their characters more thoughtfully, choosing individual cards for their unique effects.

    • Create a more balanced and engaging gameplay environment for all classes.
