🌿 Foraging Profession

Foraging is one of the three Profession Systems that can be done on the Savage Coast.

Foraging allows you to collect herbs, fruits, seeds, and shrooms, which are used in crafting a variety of consumables through Combinations. For more details, see the Combination System section.

🎒 Foraging Materials by Level

Depending on your foraging level, you will be able to gather different materials:

• Level 1: Blue Mushroom, Medicinal Herb, Insect Husk

• Level 2: Citron, Adamant Seed, Might Seed

• Level 3: Golden Flower, Nitroshroom, Zapshroom

🎩 Prerequisites: The Straw Hat

Before you begin foraging, you must obtain a Straw Hat. This is required to access foraging areas and interact with harvestables.

• How to Get a Straw Hat:

  • First-time Players: Speak to the Caretaker NPC to receive a free 3-day Straw Hat.

  • Crafting a Permanent Straw Hat:

    • Visit the Professional Hatter NPC (Main Hall).

    • Requirements:

      • 1 Hat [1]

      • 100 Monster's Feed

      • 200 Trunk

  • Sickle: Buy from the Caretaker NPC. Each foraging attempt requires 1 Sickle.

📋 Foraging Tasks

🌾 Level 1 Foraging

• Speak to Ramie (Foraging Instructor) to unlock Level 1 Foraging.

• Receive a Sickle and get started!

🌾 Level 2 Foraging

• Forage 20 times, then return to Ramie to complete the task. She will give you a Combination Kit.

• Forage an additional 50 times for the next task.

• Ramie will ask you to craft 10 Hunter's Potions:

  • 🧪 Each requires 1 Medicinal Herb + 1 Blue Mushroom.

  • Use the Combination Kit to craft them.

• Forage 70–80 more times for the next task.

• Ramie will ask you to craft 5 Energy Drinks:

  • Each requires 1 Dash Juice + 1 Citron.

  • Dash Juice requires 1 Insect Husk + 1 Slimy Eel (from Fishing Profession).

• Return to Ramie to unlock Level 2 Foraging. You may now forage Tier 2 Harvestables.

🌾 Level 3 Foraging

• Forage 40–50 times, then speak to Ramie.

• Ramie will ask you to forage rare harvestables 10 times. (see How to Forage section).

• Defeat 2 Sproutrings (low chance spawn after foraging. interact 4x to defeat them).

  • 

• Return to Ramie for the next task.

• Craft 5 Stoneskin Extract:

  • Each requires 1 Dash Juice + 1 Adamant Seed.

  • Dash Juice requires 1 Insect Husk + 1 Slimy Eel (Fishing).

🎉 Congratulations! You've reached Level 3 Foraging!

🌼 How to Forage

1. Get the Foraging Skill: Talk to Ramie.

2. Forage a Harvestable:

   • Stand near a harvestable (based on your Foraging Level).

   • Use the Interact skill.

3. Rare Node:

   • Rare harvestables can be foraged multiple times.

   • They have a chance to appear randomly after foraging a node.

   • A message will announce when you find a rare node.
